A rituAlists den known as ‘Ajele’ has been discovered under Lagos/ Abeokuta bridge located along Lagos-Abeokuta expressway just before Ijaiye bus-stop in Lagos suburb. An eye witness told newsmen that the ritualists dug a very large spacious space underground of the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway road that stretched from one side of the road to the other side down to the street which they use as trap for their victims. “Their mode of operation is such that they target pedestrians crossing the road early in the morning or late in the night. They grab and drag their victims into the hole. At that time no one could see them. The den was discovered early yesterday morning when they dragged a woman into the hole and a sweeper who noticed it raised the alarm. The woman they grabbed kept screaming and the road sweeper heard and alerted people. That was how the den was discovered,” our source revealed. He disclosed that one of the ritualists was caught by angry mob and burnt alive. Another source revealed that there were rotten human corpses whom they have probably used their body parts for rituals. As at when going to press, thousands of people were rushing there to have sight of the place which our source described as ‘oozing bad odours and peoples clothes littering the hole’.
